Nokia faces diminishing revenues and struggles to hold its market share

Nokia Oyj expects its revenue to keep falling in 2021, as they battle market share loss and the price drop of some of its products. They expects 2021 sales to be between $24.7 and $26.2 billion, while Bloomberg analysts estimated around $26 billion. Nokia trades at around 17 times earnings, and its shares are up 20% this year, compared to the 6% gain of the Stoxx Europe 600.

Deep learning is a form of AI that uses data to write software. By automating the writing and creation of software, deep learning could give a strong boost to every industry in the economy. The technology is used in many sectors, for automatic writing and speech, autonomous driving or even consumers app for recommendations. According to Ark Invest, deep learning could add $30 trillion to the global equity market capitalization over the next 15-20 years, while the internet is estimated to have added around $20 trillion.

Astra Space to IPO through a SPAC for a $2.1B valuation

With orbital technology becoming more popular an equity, the company says it is able to lift satellites weighing about 100 pounds into low-earth orbit, but gradually hopes to increase that capacity about fivefold. Astra’s move comes amid a boom in the use of relatively compact satellites for internet access, earth imaging, military applications and other purposes.

Amazon sees record sales in Holiday quarter

Amazon sales for all of 2020 rose 38% year-over-year to $386.1 billion and are expected to advance again this year. Amazon said sales for the current quarter should come in at between $100 billion and $106 billion. Wall Street has forecast sales of around $95.8 billion.
