Big Tech firm Google will pay a fine of nearly $270M as part of a settlement with regulators in Paris. The French authorities are fining Google on the basis that the company abused its leading role in the digital advertising sector. Commitments made by Google include making it easier for competitors to use its online-ad tools, commitments Google is binded to legally for the next three years.
