Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system that allows users to program games and play games created by other users. Founded by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004 and released in 2006, the platform hosts user-created games of multiple genres coded in the programming language Lua. Roblox hours of engagement hit 3 billion in August, up by 100% from just a few months back. Monthly active users have soared to ~170 million. Roblox is minting teenage millionaires: this year, it will pay out a quarter-billion to its network of 345,000 paid developers. This popular internet platform has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the pandemic but is still flying under the radar of millions of Americans. Reuters first reported Roblox's plans to soon go public. The company could target a valuation as high as $8 billion depending on market demand, according to the report(source: The Economist). The price of an iPhone over time
A great chart by James Egale about Apple product and pricing strategy over time. Apple has kept the standard iPhone relatively affordable. Meanwhile, the iPhone X or iPhone Pro is actually a new luxury range that didn't exist before - and they thus hiked the price - i.e Apple hasn't actually been hiking prices each year like what we could have thought. Over the last decade, they have been diversifying their product range, effectively increasing their target audience.

Buying an iPhone 12 in the U.S and selling it in India could be a great 'arbitrage' deal...
Apple unveiled its new generation iPhone this week. The new models, iPhone 12 and 12 Pro will be available on October 23 and pre-orders can be placed starting today (Friday). In the U.S, the iPhone 12 standard model is displayed at US$943 without contract and including tax. Still, as Statista notes, the iPhone price in the U.S. is quite low compared to other countries. India's customers, however, are paying a much higher price for the same phone. It will cost them upwards of US$1100 for the starter model and a whopping $1,636 for the Pro model - source: Statista
