Are Chinese Electric Vehicles the new MOAB (mother-of-all-bubbles)?

Chinese EV companies have rocketed to the moon recently. NIO now has a market cap of $54bn, Xpeng Auto $32bn (up +33% yesterday...) and Li Auto $15bn (up +27% yesterday and up another +18% pre-opening...). As reference point, you will find below their production numbers for October and year-to-date. To put things in perspective, General Motors produces almost 8 million vehicles per annum and his market cap is $56bn (so equivalent to NIO). Meanwhile, NIO is expected to produce around 45,000 vehicles this year, which is around 0.5% of GM production...(source of the chart: CPCA)

Billionaire investor Dan Loeb's firm made almost $400 million betting on a post-election stock surge

According to the FT, a bullish bet on stocks just before the presidential election helped Daniel Loeb's Third Point rake in nearly $400 million in profits. Third Point, which has $13.5 billion in assets, experienced a 4.3% performance surge between November 1 and November 4, according to FT.

Chipotle announced its first all-digital kitchen

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) yesterday announced its first-ever Chipotle digital-only restaurant called the Chipotle Digital Kitchen. Customers will be forced to order on the Chipotle app or other 3rd-party apps to receive service. No walk-ins welcome. The digital kitchen will not have a dining room or service lines. Instead, it’s designed to simulate the smell, sound, and appearance of a regular Chipotle. Located just outside of the gates to the military academy in Highland Falls, NY, the restaurant will open this Saturday for pick-up and delivery only. The new prototype will allow Chipotle to enter more urban areas that wouldn't support a full-size restaurant and allows for flexibility with future locations (Source:https://newsroom.chipotle.com/)
