Tesla stock down pre-market on news of $5 billion share sale

Tesla files for sale of up to $5bn worth of common stock, less than 1% of current mkt cap of $608bn. If VW wanted to sell $5bn worth of shares, this would correspond to 5.4% of stock market value and thus severely dilute the existing shareholders. via @Schuldensuehner
