Tesla's Chinese rival NIO has seen its share price plunge last week, after the company said the the global chip shortage will hurt their production next quarter, falling to 7,500 car per months from 10,000. The company expects to raise production again in July.

Alcoa Corp. is to issue $500 million in bonds

Alcoa Corp will offer $500 million in bonds through its Alcoa Nederland Holding. Proceeds will be used to pay pension plans applicable to salaried and hourly employees and to pay back their Senior Notes due in 2024 at 6.75%. The share price of the company went up 163% in the last 12 months, vs. 29% for the S&P 500.
