Troubled waters for the cruise industry

It seems that the crews are getting ready to get back on the ships! Royal Caribbean Cruises is the first company to announce a fully vaccinated crew and announced that they were putting the finishing touches to their new ship which should start sailing in May. While this brings a light of hope, cruising companies have been massively hit by the pandemic. The largest operators, which are Carnival Corporation PLC, Royal Caribbean Group and Norwegian Cruise Line, have all seen their revenue drop more than 70% in 2020.
