Old school TV providers can do nothing vs. Amazon and Netflix

You knew it already, but this chart looked good anyways. As you can see, the number of subscribers of Amazon and Netflix in the UK is simply smashing all other TV providers, with the exception of Sky (Brits are football fans after all). That's almost 13 million and 12 million subscribers for Netflix and Amazon respectively.

According to the Bundesbank's chief economist, the semiconductor supply bottleneck in the German industry is likely to worsen in the second quarter of 2021, weakening Europe's recovery. This issue has led to production cuts, leading executives to rethink their supply lines and try to come up with other solutions than relying on oversea providers.

Apple improving sales in all product categories

Following a strong end of the year, Apple management to carry its momentum into 2021. They reported a first quarter with revenue growing by 54% to $89.6 billion in the first three months which ended in March 27. The company simply posted double digits growth for all its product categories, with iPhone, Mac and iPad growing by 66%. 70% and 79% year over year, respectively.
