NIO delivered strong deliveries despite chip shortage

NIO managed to deliver 7,102 vehicle in April despite the global chip shortage, a 125% increase from April last year, though a 2.1% decline from March. April was the third best month of the company, after January and March 2021. Since their beginnings, the company has delivered over 102,000 vehicles. Company executives expect the third quarter to be the most fragile due to the shortage, but things should rebound from there.
