The General Electric stock posted its highest close in 3 years, with 7.1% gain as Boeing and its suppliers rallied in a response to news that Airbus is preparing the production of its new A320 Series Jets. Boeing is GE's second largest customer while Airbus is third, according to Bloomberg.

Asia stocks are poised to show their best weekly advance in 3 months, with the MSCI Asia Index roaring back, posting its biggest weekly gains since February. The index climbed as much as 1.1%, extending gains for the week to 2%. Japan and Taiwan performed exceptionally well, with the bluechip Nikkei 225 Stock Average rallying 2.3%.
