Dividend aristocrats, an index containing 65 S&P 500 companies that have increase their payout each year for the past two decades is up 16.8% which is more than four percentage points higher than the 12.4% increase in the S&P 500 so far this year. Such stocks fit in to the ''cyclical'' bucket of stocks that are expected to be among the largest beneficiaries of an economic recovery.

The sum of weekly flows into investment grade, high yield, emerging market debt and equity funds has resumed its upward form lately. Commodity funds saw a marginal outflow last week, ending a seven week streak of inflows. Equity funds enjoyed their 8th weekly inflow in a row as the macro recovery is picking up in Europe.
