The high speed network Elrond surged 180% in the past week and 42% in the past day, resulting in a $2.9 billion market cap. This happened a week after the launch of the "Maiar" wallet, Elrond's mobile app which allows users to send and receive cryptocurrencies using only their phone number. The app has already been downloaded by 100,000 people. The token was trading at $50 last week and was pushed by enthusiast traders to a high of $191 yesterday.

According to an SEC filing published today, Tesla has invested $1.5 billion into Bitcoin. The company expects the cryptocurrency to be one of the payment method for its products, including cars, in the near future. As a result, the price of Bitcoin shot up from $39,000 to $43,000, a new all-time high. We should be aware of Tesla's new investment policy to maximize the return on their cash. They plan to invest more into digital assets, gold, ETF, as well as other assets. Elon Musk has been making noise about both Bitcoin and Dogecoin recently, heavily affecting their prices thanks to his social media fame. But in the end, it seems that he was after Bitcoin a along.
