Crypto-linked stocks have been under pressure recently

Because of bitcoin's slide and Coinbase's choppy debut, some investors believe that the sector has peaked. Bitcoin was downed 9%, which is anyways small compared to its 130% climb so far this year. Cryptocurrency-related stocks like Riot Blockchain or Marathon Digital holdings, though, are under pressure.

Crypto crash overnight! Bitcoin fell as much as 15% during Asian trading hours to $52k. This is the largest pullback in 7 weeks

The crash happened a few days after bitcoin (BTC) hit new all time high. Several online reports attributed the plunge to speculation US Treasury may crack down on money laundering that’s carried out through digital assets. Other altcoins plunged as well. Source: Bloomberg, Holger Z
