That's what happened after the first halving in 2020.

Galaxy Digital will buy BitGo for $1.2 billion

The financial services company Galaxy Digital will acquire crypto custody firm BitGo for the sum of $1.2 billion. Crypto custody was one of the missing pieces in Galaxy's activities, and bringing this service internally will help them save costs and deliver better, integrated service. In addition, Galaxy Digital will gain around 400 clients from the acquisition, and now plans for a US listing later this year.
